- In a small mixing bowl, blend the unsalted butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cooking
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden and reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove chicken from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, pour in the chicken broth to deglaze, scraping up any flavorful bits stuck to the bottom.
- Stir in the butter mixture and let it simmer until smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it well in the sauce. Allow it to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve over rice or with mashed potatoes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
