Preparation
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Press a small handful of ground beef directly onto one half of each tortilla. Season well with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cook the beef side down for 2–3 minutes until browned.
- Flip the tortilla, sprinkle with cheese on top of the beef, and fold the tortilla in half.
- Grill both sides until the tortillas are crispy and the cheese is melted (about 2-3 minutes per side).
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve with your favorite burger toppings or dipping sauces.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them in a skillet over medium heat until heated through or microwave them for a quick option, but the skillet will preserve the crispiness of the tortillas.
