Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a baking sheet, slightly flatten each biscuit with your fingers.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped shrimp, lump crab, shredded mozzarella cheese, softened cream cheese, Old Bay seasoning, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
Assembly
- Spoon the filling onto half of the flattened biscuits.
- Place the other half on top and pinch the edges to seal them firmly. Press down lightly to ensure the biscuits stick.
- Use a brush to coat the tops of your biscuit melts with melted butter.
Cooking
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 13-15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and fully cooked.
- Let the melts rest for about 2 minutes before slicing if desired, or serve them whole.
Notes
Serve warm with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce. These melts are perfect for parties or as a main dish with a green salad. To store, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven.
