Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs Add one at a time
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • as needed green food coloring To achieve desired color

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar until combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until well blended.
  6. Add a few drops of green food coloring and mix until desired color is achieved.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting them into squares.
Decoration
  1. Decorate with candy eyes and optional chocolate chips or sprinkles for an extra monster-like appearance.
