Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef, minced garlic, and onion powder over medium-high heat until the beef is browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain any excess grease and transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
- Stir in the chopped cooked bacon, and spread everything evenly in the dish.
Egg Mixture
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and three-quarters of the shredded cheese.
- Pour this mixture over the meat and bacon in the casserole dish.
Baking
- Top everything off with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
- Once done, let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
This casserole can be served straight from the baking dish for a casual meal. Pair it with a side salad or top with fresh avocado, sliced tomatoes, or low-carb condiments.
