Main Ingredients
  • 2 pounds beef stew meat (or chuck roast) Feel free to use chuck roast.
  • 1.5 pounds baby Yukon gold potatoes Red potatoes can also be used.
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped Fresh garlic works best.
  • 5 tablespoons butter, cut into pads

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the beef stew meat on one side of the crockpot and the baby potatoes on the other.
  2. Sprinkle the onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoned salt evenly over both the beef and potatoes.
  3. Gently toss the beef to coat it in the seasonings, keeping it separate from the potatoes.
  4. Scatter the chopped garlic on top of both the beef and potatoes.
  5. Generously place the butter pads over the mixture.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for six hours.
  2. Once cooked, use a spoon to drizzle the garlic butter sauce from the bottom over the beef and potatoes before serving.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Pairs well with a green salad and crusty bread. For a heartier meal, consider adding steamed green beans or roasted Brussels sprouts.
