  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (skin-on preferred) For extra crunch
  • 1/4 cup honey Or maple syrup for a different twist
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce To keep sodium levels lower
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced For a fragrant boost

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, low-sodium soy sauce, and minced garlic to create a glaze.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Place the salmon skin-side down in the pan, cooking for about 4 minutes until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
  3. Flip the fillets carefully and brush half of the honey garlic glaze on top.
  4. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 145°F).
  5. Drizzle any remaining glaze over the salmon before serving and garnish with chopped green onions.
