Preparation
- Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and gently pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, low-sodium soy sauce, and minced garlic to create a glaze.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Place the salmon skin-side down in the pan, cooking for about 4 minutes until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
- Flip the fillets carefully and brush half of the honey garlic glaze on top.
- Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 145°F).
- Drizzle any remaining glaze over the salmon before serving and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm gently in a skillet over low heat. For longer storage, freeze tightly wrapped for up to 2 months.
