Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 turkey breast 1 turkey breast (about 3-4 pounds)
  • 1 cup 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, orange juice, sugar, and grated orange zest. Cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst and the glaze thickens, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Season it generously with salt and black pepper, then brush it with olive oil.
  4. Place the seasoned turkey breast in a roasting pan. Pour the cranberry-orange glaze over the turkey, ensuring that it is well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours. Baste the turkey occasionally with the pan juices until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serving
  1. Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for at least 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve with any remaining glaze for extra flavor.

Notes

For a beautiful presentation, slice the turkey breast into even pieces and arrange it on a large serving platter. Drizzle some of the cranberry glaze over the slices for added color and flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for 2-3 months.
