Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, adding salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings.
  4. In a greased baking dish, spread the beef mixture evenly.
Assembly
  1. Layer the tater tots on top of the beef mixture.
  2. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
