Method
 

Preparation
  1. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.
  2. Tear the bread into pieces and evenly spread it in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread, pressing down gently to ensure all pieces soak up the liquid.
  5. Scatter the blueberries on top of the soaked bread mixture.
  6. Cover the baking dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to let the flavors meld.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bake uncovered for 40-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
  3. Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.
