Cooking the Chicken
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Making the Sauce
- Lower the heat slightly and sauté the minced garlic in the same pan for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the cream and stir to blend it with the garlic, then add Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese; mix until the sauce is smooth.
- If using spinach, stir it in and let everything simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Combining
- Return the crispy chicken to the skillet, spoon the creamy sauce over it, and allow it to simmer for an additional minute before serving.
Notes
Don't rush frying the chicken; let it form a crust. Use fresh garlic for vibrant flavor. Adjust seasoning to your taste. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days.
